![]() PAST On Theatre has created five theatre essays so far. Our first shows were On Death and On Love – both presented at the Gate Theatre. On Love was then revived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan under the title On Love in Uzbekistan. More recently we have created On Ego, On Religion and On Emotion for the Soho Theatre. A revised version of On Religion was performed, under the title Grace, at the Lucille Lortel theatre in New York. The interviews upon which On Religion was based have been published as a collection under the title Conversations on Religion. We have since published a follow up to this book entitled Conversations on Truth. PRESENT Our current project is called The Ride of Your Life and will run at the Soho Theatre until the 31st of October 2009. On Religion was revived in 2008 for the British Council and is available to tour. (If you are interested in hosting On Religion please get in touch with us via the contact us section on this website.) FUTURE We are currently researching a project about identity called Pressure Drop which will be performed in 2010 at the Wellcome Collection. This is being written in collaboration with Billy Bragg. Other upcoming theatre essays are On/Off (an examination of virtual reality) On Memory, On Free Will, and a major international collaboration: On The Silk Road. |
